Space for Nature

We promote biodiversity through sustainable cultivation. This is good for local ecosystems and has a positive impact on our climate. That’s why we have initiated various projects to help farmers with regenerative farming methods.

We make our supply chains transparent

From farm to table: our goal is to make all herb and spice supply chains fully transparent by 2035. This way, you know exactly where our delicious herbs and spices come from. And we know exactly what nature and people need in our chains. We are building a better future for our farmers and their families.

OUR NUTMEG SUPPLY CHAIN: 100% TRANSPARENT

We truly add value with regenerative agriculture

We help our suppliers and farmers transition to regenerative agriculture – a sustainable approach that improves soil health. This increases biodiversity, strengthens plantations against the impact of climate change, and boosts production, making farmers financially stronger.

There is much to be gained from this.
These are our goals for 2025:

10% of our purchasing volume comes from regenerative agriculture.

White and Black Pepper from Indonesia

With smart farming methods, we help the farmers behind our suppliers make their plantations more resilient to climate change. This also increases their productivity and income. We are currently supporting 500 of the 2,500 farmers we aim to reach in Indonesia.

Vanilla from Costa Rica

Together with our Costa Rican partner, we have already planted more than 3,000 vanilla plants in regenerative agricultural soil. They grow among trees and other crops. This is good for biodiversity, flavor, and productivity, and therefore also for the farmers’ income. Additionally, in collaboration with our supplier, we help them with various training programs.
