Verstegen offsets 3,445 tonnes of CO₂ through agroforestry in Indonesia. In addition, Verstegen has taken steps to make the head office in Rotterdam gas-free. We managed to achieve this by using 876 solar panels, our own wind turbine and various installations at the head office. Other achievements include a heat recovery installation, LED lighting with presence sensors and a paperless working environment. The next step is gas-free production.
